About Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), known as Sea-Tac, serves Seattle, Tacoma and the Puget Sound region of Washington. It sits in the city of SeaTac, about 14 miles (23 km) south of downtown Seattle and 18 miles (29 km) north of downtown Tacoma, and handled a record 52.7 million passengers in 2025.

Sea-Tac is the main hub of Alaska Airlines and a hub and international gateway for Delta Air Lines. United, Southwest, American and many foreign airlines also fly here, with routes across the United States and to Asia, Europe, Canada and Mexico.

The Main Terminal holds check-in and baggage claim, with Concourses A to D, and two satellite terminals, North and South, linked by the SEA Underground train. The International Arrivals Facility, east of Concourse A, opened in 2022.

The Link light rail 1 Line stops at the airport and runs north through downtown Seattle. Most travelers continue to downtown, Bellevue, Tacoma or the cruise terminals on the Seattle waterfront.
