Arrival tips for Vilnius Čiurlionis International Airport
After you leave the aircraft, follow the signs for arrivals. If your flight comes from inside the Schengen area, such as Riga, Warsaw, Frankfurt or Helsinki, there is no passport control. Flights from outside the Schengen area, such as London, Dublin, Istanbul or Dubai, go through passport control first, where non-EU citizens are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System; families with children up to 6 and passengers with reduced mobility can use the priority lane.
Collect your bags at baggage claim, then pass customs into the arrivals hall of the Arrivals Terminal. If you arrive from outside the EU, meat, milk and most other animal products may not be brought in, and cash over EUR 10,000 must be declared.
Outside the Arrivals Terminal, taxis wait in a line by the door, Bolt picks up from its own zone next to the intercity bus stops, and the Airport Railway Stop is a two-minute walk away. Lithuania is on Eastern European Time (UTC+2, UTC+3 in summer) and uses the euro.
Ground transportation
The train and buses suit light travelers heading to the center during the day, while taxis, Bolt and pre-booked transfers work around the clock.
