Airport Transportation in Gdańsk
Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Our airport transportation in Gdańsk takes you from the airport to hotels and apartments in the Main Town and along Długi Targ, to Wrzeszcz, Oliwa and Westerplatte, to the beaches and spa hotels of Sopot, and to Gdynia and its ferry and cruise terminals.
Gdańsk Airport Transfers
Gdańsk airport transfers start in the public arrivals hall of Terminal T2, where your driver waits with a name sign after baggage claim and customs. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and you get a fixed price per vehicle before you fly, from a sedan for two to a van for a family or group with luggage.
Each Gdańsk airport transfer goes door to door to your hotel, apartment or vacation rental in Gdańsk, Sopot or Gdynia, or to the ferry terminals for your crossing to Scandinavia. Heading to Malbork Castle or the Hel Peninsula? Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us before you fly.
Gdańsk Airport Shuttle
Our Gdańsk airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, with no stops for other passengers and no change of train at Wrzeszcz. It leaves as soon as you have your bags, with room for suitcases, strollers and bikes, and suits families, groups and travelers heading on to Sopot or Gdynia.
Landing at Gdańsk Airport
Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) is on the northwestern edge of Gdańsk, in the Matarnia district. All passenger flights use one terminal, T2: arrivals and baggage claim are on the ground floor, and a covered footbridge leads to the airport railway station in front of the building.
Flights from Poland and other Schengen countries arrive without passport checks; from outside the Schengen area, including the UK and Ireland, you go through border control first. After baggage claim you walk through customs into the public arrivals hall, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers and car rental desks and the information desk are nearby.
Poland is on Central European Time (UTC+1) and switches to UTC+2 for daylight saving time from late March to late October.
Schengen entry
Poland is in the Schengen area. Non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), fully operational since 10 April 2026; the planned ETIAS travel authorization is not yet in operation. Check the visa rules for your nationality before you fly.
Polish złoty
Poland uses the Polish złoty (PLN), not the euro, and cards and contactless payments are widely accepted.
Main Town streets
Długa and Długi Targ in Gdańsk's Main Town are pedestrian, as is Monte Cassino street in Sopot, so give your full address; your driver stops at the nearest point a car can reach.
St. Dominic's Fair
During the fair, held each year from late July into August, many streets in the Main Town fill with stalls and some close to traffic, so allow for detours.

How Gdańsk Airport pickup works
- 1
Clear arrivals
Immigration, baggage claim, then customs. Representatives can't enter those areas.
- 2
Meet your representative
At the meeting point in your confirmation. Check the company name before getting in.
- 3
Go straight there
No other stops, no other passengers.
Meet in the arrivals hall
Gdańsk has one passenger terminal, T2, and pre-booked drivers meet passengers in its public arrivals hall on the ground floor, after baggage claim and customs.
Don't accept a ride from someone claiming to know your booking. Check the company name and reservation details before getting in.
Return trips and flight changes
Going back to the airport
Transportation can also be booked from your hotel, resort or vacation rental to Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport. Your pickup time covers the drive plus check-in, security and border procedures, and your airline's instructions come first. Give the correct departure time and terminal when you book.
If your flight changes
We monitor the arrival of the flight on your reservation, but can't find you on a different one. If any of these change, update them in Manage your booking:

Where will my driver meet me at Gdańsk Airport?
In the public arrivals hall of Terminal T2 on the ground floor, holding a sign with your name, after baggage claim and customs. All passenger flights use the same terminal, so the meeting place is the same for every flight.
How far is Gdańsk Airport from the city center?
The airport is about 12 km (7.5 miles) northwest of Gdańsk's Main Town, 10 km (6 miles) from Sopot and 23 km (14 miles) from Gdynia. Travel time depends on traffic, which is heavier at rush hour and on summer weekends.
Can you take me to the Main Town and Długi Targ?
Yes. We drive door to door to hotels and apartments in the Main Town, the Old Town, Granary Island and Wrzeszcz. Where the street is pedestrian, your driver stops at the nearest point a car can reach.
Can you take me from Gdańsk Airport to Sopot?
Yes. We drive you straight to your hotel, spa or apartment in Sopot, with no change of train at Wrzeszcz.
Can you take me to Gdynia or the ferry terminal?
Yes. We drive to hotels and apartments in Gdynia and to the ferry terminals in Gdynia and Gdańsk for crossings to Sweden. Give us your sailing time when you book, so the pickup leaves a comfortable margin.
Can you take me to Malbork Castle or the Hel Peninsula?
Malbork is southeast of Gdańsk, and the Hel Peninsula, with Jastarnia, Jurata and Hel, stretches out into the Baltic north of Gdynia. Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us before you fly.
Which terminal will I arrive at in Gdańsk?
All passenger flights use Terminal T2, with separate gate areas for Schengen and non-Schengen flights. Every arriving passenger comes out into the same arrivals hall on the ground floor.
Do you drive to apartments and vacation rentals in Gdańsk?
Yes. Give the full street address, the apartment number and any gate or entrance details when you book, so your driver can find you and you can load your bags without delay.
Can I book a transfer for a late-night or early-morning flight?
Yes. Give your flight number and arrival time when you book; we track the flight, so your driver is there when you land, even late at night when trains and buses run less often.
Should I accept a ride from drivers in the arrivals hall?
There is no need. Booking ahead gives you a confirmed vehicle and a meeting point before you land. If someone approaches you in arrivals, check the company name against your confirmation before getting in.
What happens if my flight is delayed or canceled?
We monitor the flight on your reservation, so your driver waits for the actual landing. If your flight number, date or airline changes, or your flight is canceled, update it in Manage your booking so the pickup can be moved.
Can I book a ride back to Gdańsk Airport?
Yes. Book a one-way departure or a round trip from your hotel or apartment in Gdańsk, Sopot or Gdynia, and give your flight time so the pickup is set for check-in and security.
What do I need to enter Poland at Gdańsk Airport?
Poland is in the Schengen area, so flights from other Schengen countries arrive without passport checks, and arrivals from outside it go through border control. Non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), fully operational since 10 April 2026; the planned ETIAS travel authorization is not yet in operation.
What currency is used in Gdańsk?
Poland uses the Polish złoty (PLN), not the euro. Cards and contactless payments are widely accepted in Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia.
Is Airport Transportation the same as Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport?

Can I make stops during my ride?
Yes, you can add an extra stop to your service during the booking process.
Do children pay differently than adults?
No. Prices are set per passenger range or per vehicle, not per age.
Is my reservation refundable?
Yes. Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your pick-up and you are refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before service are not refundable.
Do drivers speak English?
Yes. While their English may not be native-level, drivers have the skills to communicate with passengers.
Are tips mandatory?
Tips are not mandatory but are highly recommended; drivers earn them through service quality.
What currencies are accepted?
All prices are in USD. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the charge at its own exchange rate.
Are pets allowed?
We can transport domestic pets kept in cages that fit in a normal vehicle.
Is there room for luggage?
Yes. There is plenty of room for one suitcase and one carry-on per person.
What is included in the price?
Every private transfer includes a professional, licensed driver; an insured, well-maintained vehicle; real-time flight monitoring; meet-and-greet service at arrivals; and door-to-door service with no hidden fees added after booking. Your fixed price covers the full route to your destination.
