All international flights use Terminal 2, as do Air India's domestic flights. Terminal 1 has served SpiceJet and part of IndiGo's domestic network, but allocations are changing, so always confirm the terminal on your booking.

Foreign nationals and OCI cardholders must submit India's online e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before arrival; it replaced the paper disembarkation card in 2026. Most visitors also need a visa, and citizens of many countries can apply online for an e-Visa at least four days before travel. Fingerprints and a photo are taken at immigration.

Prepaid taxis are booked at the official counter in arrivals, but booking ahead gives you a driver waiting for you and a fixed price per vehicle. Do not accept offers from people who approach you outside the arrivals hall.
