Airport Transportation in Santiago
Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Airport transportation in Santiago covers Chile's capital and well beyond it: we drive you from Arturo Merino Benítez Airport to hotels and apartments in Providencia, Las Condes and Santiago Centro, to Valparaíso and Viña del Mar on the Pacific coast, to wineries in the Casablanca and Maipo valleys, and up to the ski areas of Valle Nevado and Farellones.
Santiago Airport Transfers
Our Santiago airport transfers start in the public arrivals hall, just after the customs exit, where your driver waits with a sign bearing your name. International flights arrive at Terminal 2 and domestic flights at Terminal 1, so we track your flight and wait at the right terminal.
You get a fixed price per vehicle before you fly, in sizes from sedans for couples and business travelers to vans for families and groups. Every Santiago airport transfer goes door to door, whether you are staying at a city hotel, an apartment in Las Condes, a coastal hotel in Viña del Mar, a winery lodge or a ski hotel in the Andes.
Santiago Airport Shuttle
Our Santiago airport shuttle is a private van for your party only: it leaves as soon as you are through customs and goes straight to your address, with no stops for other passengers. There is room for suitcases as well as ski and snowboard bags, so it suits families, groups heading up to Valle Nevado or Farellones, and wine-country trips to Casablanca or Maipo.
Landing at Santiago Airport
Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) sits in the commune of Pudahuel, on the northwest edge of Santiago, and is the main hub of LATAM Airlines. It has two terminals in one complex: international flights arrive at Terminal 2, opened in 2022, and domestic flights at Terminal 1. You can walk between them.
On an international arrival you clear immigration first, then collect your bags and put them through the SAG agricultural X-ray inspection before customs. Before the exit to the public hall you pass the official taxi and shared-van counters; your pre-booked driver waits in the public arrivals hall beyond them.
Santiago follows Chile's continental time: UTC−4 in winter and UTC−3 during daylight saving time in the southern summer.
Entry rules
Check the passport and visa rules for your nationality before you fly to Chile.
SAG sworn declaration
Fill in the sworn declaration for Chile's Agriculture and Livestock Service (SAG) and customs, and declare all food, plant and animal products. Fines for undeclared items are high, even for a single piece of fruit.
Offers in the arrivals hall
People approach arriving passengers after the arrivals gate offering taxis and transfers. Decline politely and look for the driver holding your name sign.
Clock changes
Chile moves its clocks for daylight saving time, so double-check the local time of your flight when you book a return pickup close to the change dates.

How Santiago Airport pickup works
- 1
Clear arrivals
Immigration, baggage claim, then customs. Representatives can't enter those areas.
- 2
Meet your representative
At the meeting point in your confirmation. Check the company name before getting in.
- 3
Go straight there
No other stops, no other passengers.
Meet in arrivals
Pre-booked drivers usually wait in the public arrivals hall just after the customs exit, holding a sign with your name. International flights arrive at Terminal 2 and domestic flights at Terminal 1, so make sure your driver knows which one.
Don't accept a ride from someone claiming to know your booking. Check the company name and reservation details before getting in.
Return trips and flight changes
Going back to the airport
Transportation can also be booked from your hotel, resort or vacation rental to Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport. Your pickup time covers the drive plus check-in, security and border procedures, and your airline's instructions come first. Give the correct departure time and terminal when you book.
If your flight changes
We monitor the arrival of the flight on your reservation, but can't find you on a different one. If any of these change, update them in Manage your booking:
