Airport Transportation in St. Kitts
Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Our St. Kitts airport transportation takes you from Robert L. Bradshaw International to hotels, villas and condos in Basseterre and Frigate Bay, to South Friar's Bay and the Southeast Peninsula resorts at Christophe Harbour, and to the Port Zante cruise pier.
St. Kitts Airport Transfers
St. Kitts airport transfers start just outside the arrivals hall of the single terminal, where your driver waits with a name sign after immigration, baggage claim and customs. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and the price for your vehicle is fixed before you fly, from a sedan for two to a van for a family or group with luggage.
Each St. Kitts airport transfer goes door to door to your hotel, villa or vacation rental, or to the cruise pier at Port Zante. Staying on Nevis? We drive you to the port, either the ferry terminal in Basseterre or Major's Bay for the Sea Bridge; for a door-to-door ride to your Nevis address, enter it in the booking form to see whether a transfer is offered.
St. Kitts Airport Shuttle
Our St. Kitts airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, not a shared minibus that stops at other hotels along the way. It leaves as soon as you have your bags, with room for suitcases, golf clubs and strollers, and suits families, wedding parties and groups heading to Frigate Bay or the Southeast Peninsula.
Landing at St. Kitts Airport
Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport (SKB), known to most travelers as St. Kitts Airport, sits at Golden Rock on the edge of Basseterre. All scheduled flights use one passenger terminal, and a private terminal beside it, the YU Lounge, serves private jets and VIP passengers.
After landing you walk into the terminal for immigration, where eligible passport holders can use automated kiosks and everyone else lines up at the desks. Baggage claim and customs follow, and a single exit leads to the arrivals hall, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers.
St. Kitts is on Atlantic Standard Time (UTC-4) all year, with no daylight saving time.
Online travel form
Every arriving traveler completes the free online immigration and customs ED form at knatravelform.kn before flying, and visitors from many countries, including the US and Canada, also need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Your passport should be valid for six months beyond your stay; check the visa rules for your nationality.
Nevis is a separate island
There is no road to Nevis, so the trip continues by ferry, the Sea Bridge car ferry or a water taxi. Check the last departure if you land late in the day.
EC and US dollars
St. Kitts uses the Eastern Caribbean dollar, and US dollars are widely accepted. Local prices may be quoted in either, so check which.
Driving on the left
Traffic in St. Kitts and Nevis drives on the left, and roads on the Southeast Peninsula are winding.

How St. Kitts Airport pickup works
- 1
Clear arrivals
Immigration, baggage claim, then customs. Representatives can't enter those areas.
- 2
Meet your representative
At the meeting point in your confirmation. Check the company name before getting in.
- 3
Go straight there
No other stops, no other passengers.
Meet outside the arrivals hall
St. Kitts has one passenger terminal with a single exit. Pre-booked drivers wait just outside the arrivals hall after immigration, baggage claim and customs.
Don't accept a ride from someone claiming to know your booking. Check the company name and reservation details before getting in.
Return trips and flight changes
Going back to the airport
Transportation can also be booked from your hotel, resort or vacation rental to Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport. Your pickup time covers the drive plus check-in, security and border procedures, and your airline's instructions come first. Give the correct departure time and terminal when you book.

We monitor the arrival of the flight on your reservation, but can't find you on a different one. If any of these change, update them in Manage your booking:

Where will my driver meet me at St. Kitts Airport?
Just outside the arrivals hall of the single terminal, holding a sign with your name, after immigration, baggage claim and customs.
How far is St. Kitts Airport from Basseterre and Frigate Bay?
The airport is about 3 km (2 miles) from downtown Basseterre and the Port Zante cruise pier, around 10 minutes by car. Frigate Bay is a short drive further south, and Christophe Harbour on the Southeast Peninsula takes longer along the peninsula road.
Can you take me to Frigate Bay?
Yes. We drive to hotels, condos and villas around Frigate Bay, on both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides.
Can you take me to Christophe Harbour or South Friar's Bay?
Yes. We drive along the Southeast Peninsula to South Friar's Bay and to the resorts, villas and marina at Christophe Harbour.
Can you take me to the cruise pier at Port Zante?
Yes. We drive door to door to Port Zante in Basseterre. Give us your ship's boarding time when you book, so the pickup leaves a comfortable margin.
Can you take me to Nevis?
We drive you to the port: the passenger ferry terminal in Basseterre or Major's Bay for the Sea Bridge car ferry. For a door-to-door ride to your address on Nevis, enter it in the booking form to see whether a transfer is offered.
How many terminals does St. Kitts Airport have?
One. All scheduled flights use the same passenger terminal, with a single arrivals hall. The private terminal beside it, the YU Lounge, serves private jets and VIP passengers.
Do you drive to villas and vacation rentals in St. Kitts?
Yes. Give the full address, the villa or unit name and any gate details. Many villas have no street number, so a landmark or the property manager's directions help your driver.
Can I book a transfer for a late-night or early-morning flight?
Yes. Give your flight number when you book, and we set the pickup around your actual arrival or departure time.
Should I buy transportation from people offering rides at St. Kitts Airport?
There is no need. Booking ahead gives you a confirmed vehicle and a meeting point before you land. If someone approaches you in arrivals, check the company name against your confirmation before getting in.
What happens if my flight is delayed or canceled?
We monitor the flight on your reservation, so your driver waits for the actual landing. If your flight number, date or airline changes, or your flight is canceled, update it in Manage your booking so the pickup can be moved.
Can I book a ride back to St. Kitts Airport?
Yes. Book a one-way departure or a round trip from your hotel, villa or cruise ship, and give your flight number and departure time, so the pickup is set for check-in and security.
What do I need to enter St. Kitts?
A passport valid for six months beyond your stay, the free online immigration and customs ED form at knatravelform.kn and, for visitors from many countries including the US and Canada, an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Check the visa rules for your nationality before you fly.
Is Airport Transportation the same as Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport?

Do children pay differently than adults?

Yes. While their English may not be native-level, drivers have the skills to communicate with passengers.
Are tips mandatory?
Tips are not mandatory but are highly recommended; drivers earn them through service quality.
What currencies are accepted?
All prices are in USD. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the charge at its own exchange rate.
Are pets allowed?
We can transport domestic pets kept in cages that fit in a normal vehicle.
Is there room for luggage?
Yes. There is plenty of room for one suitcase and one carry-on per person.
What is included in the price?
