About Aerus
Aerus is a Mexican regional airline headquartered in Monterrey, Nuevo León. It is the brand of Aerotransportes Rafilher, an air taxi company founded in San Luis Potosí in 1990 and part of Grupo Herrera. Scheduled flights under the Aerus name began in April 2023. Aerus is not a member of an airline alliance, but an agreement with Viva Aerobus lets travelers combine both airlines' flights on one itinerary.
Its hub is Monterrey International Airport, where it operates from Terminal B. From Monterrey it flies to regional cities in northern and central Mexico, including Aguascalientes, Durango, San Luis Potosí, Tampico and Piedras Negras, and across the border to Brownsville/South Padre Island, Laredo and McAllen in Texas. A second group of routes in southeastern Mexico includes Villahermosa–Mérida.
The fleet is made up of Cessna Grand Caravan EX single-engine turboprops.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Aerus before travel.
