Mykonos Airport (JMK), officially Mykonos-Manto Mavrogenous Airport, is the airport for the island of Mykonos in the Cyclades, Greece. It sits about 4 km (2.5 miles) from Mykonos Town (Chora), around 10 minutes by car. In 2025 it handled about 1.6 million passengers, most of them in summer.
Aegean Airlines flies to Athens and other Greek cities, and in summer easyJet, Ryanair, Wizz Air, Lufthansa, Eurowings, British Airways, Air France, Qatar Airways, Etihad, flydubai and others add direct flights from across Europe and the Middle East. After Greece, Italy, the UK and France are the biggest markets.
All flights use a single terminal building. Most airlines fly only in season, and outside summer the airport has limited connections and shorter opening hours.
From the airport, most visitors head into Mykonos Town and Little Venice, to the beaches of Platis Gialos, Psarou, Paradise and Super Paradise, to Ornos and Agios Ioannis, or to the old port for boats to Delos.

Arrival tips for Mykonos Airport
All flights arrive at the single terminal. Flights from Athens and other Schengen countries arrive without passport checks. If you come from outside the Schengen area, for example from the UK or the Middle East, you queue at passport control, where non-EU visitors are registered in the EU's Entry/Exit System. In peak summer the small terminal can be very crowded.
Once you have your bags, head outside. A taxi rank operates 24 hours a day outside the terminal, and the ride to Mykonos Town takes about 10 minutes, but Mykonos has a limited number of taxis and summer queues can be long. Buses run between the airport, Chora and other parts of the island in summer only. Pre-booked drivers usually meet you outside arrivals.
Mykonos Town's old streets are largely pedestrian, so cars stop at the edge of town and you walk the last stretch to many hotels.
Greece is on Eastern European Time (EET), two hours ahead of the UK, and uses the euro.
Ground transportation
Taxis are scarce in summer, so a pre-booked transfer is the surest option; buses run only in summer.
