Airport Transportation in Nice
Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Our airport transportation in Nice takes you from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport to hotels and apartments on the Promenade des Anglais and in the Old Town, west along the coast to Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and the Croisette in Cannes, and east to Villefranche-sur-Mer, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Èze, Monaco and Menton.
Nice Airport Transfers
Nice airport transfers start in the arrivals hall of your terminal, Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, where your driver waits with a name sign; both terminals handle international flights, so check yours on your boarding pass. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and you choose the vehicle for your party, from a sedan for two to a van for a family or group with luggage.
Each Nice airport transfer goes door to door to your hotel, apartment or villa in Nice, to the Croisette and the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, to Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, or along the coast east to Villefranche-sur-Mer, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Èze, Monte-Carlo in Monaco and Menton. Going on to Saint-Tropez? Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us before you fly.
Nice Airport Shuttle
Our Nice airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, not a shared coach that stops at other hotels along the coast. It leaves as soon as you are through arrivals, with room for suitcases and golf bags, and suits families, groups staying in villas on the Riviera and anyone heading to a meeting or event in Cannes or Monaco.
Landing at Nice Airport
Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) is the airport for Nice and the French Riviera, on the seafront west of the city center. It has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and both handle domestic, European and international flights, so check the terminal on your boarding pass. A free shuttle bus links them.
Flights from other Schengen countries arrive without passport checks. From outside the Schengen area, including the UK, the US and the Gulf, you pass border police before baggage claim, where EU, EEA and Swiss citizens with biometric passports can often use the PARAFE automated gates. After baggage claim you walk through customs into the arrivals hall of your terminal, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers.
France is on Central European Time (UTC+1) and switches to UTC+2 for daylight saving time from late March to late October. It uses the euro, and so does Monaco.
Schengen entry
France is in the Schengen area. Non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), fully operational since 10 April 2026; the planned ETIAS travel authorization is not yet in operation. Check the visa rules for your nationality before you fly.
Terminal 1 or Terminal 2
Each terminal has its own arrivals hall, so give your flight number and arrival terminal when you book.
Monaco
There are no border checks between France and Monaco. During the Monaco Grand Prix, many streets in the principality close for the race circuit, so give your full address when you book.
Event dates in Cannes
Cannes hosts the Film Festival each May and other large events at the Palais des Festivals; on those dates the roads around Cannes are busy, so give your full address and keep your flight details up to date.
Old Town streets
Many streets in Nice's Old Town are pedestrian, so your driver stops at the nearest point a car can reach.
Before you fly to Nice
How Nice Airport pickup works
- 1
Clear arrivals
Immigration, baggage claim, then customs. Representatives can't enter those areas.
- 2
Meet your representative
At the meeting point in your confirmation. Check the company name before getting in.
- 3
Go straight there
No other stops, no other passengers.
Meet in your terminal's arrivals hall
Nice has two terminals, each with its own arrivals hall. Your driver meets you in the public arrivals hall of the terminal your flight uses, so check Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 on your confirmation.
Don't accept a ride from someone claiming to know your booking. Check the company name and reservation details before getting in.
Return trips and flight changes
Going back to the airport
Transportation can also be booked from your hotel, resort or vacation rental to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. Your pickup time covers the drive plus check-in, security and border procedures, and your airline's instructions come first. Give the correct departure time and terminal when you book.
If your flight changes
We monitor the arrival of the flight on your reservation, but can't find you on a different one. If any of these change, update them in Manage your booking:

Where will my driver meet me at Nice Airport?
In the public arrivals hall of the terminal your flight uses, holding a sign with your name, after baggage claim and customs. Nice has two terminals, each with its own arrivals hall, so check Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 on your confirmation.
How far is Nice Airport from the city center, Cannes and Monaco?
Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is on the seafront about 7 km (4 miles) west of Nice city center. Monaco is about 20 km (12 miles) northeast of the airport, and the drive from Nice airport to Cannes takes about 30 to 45 minutes, longer during the Film Festival and other major events.
Which terminal will I arrive at in Nice?
Both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 handle domestic, European and international flights, so check your boarding pass. Emirates uses Terminal 2. Give your flight number when you book so your driver waits at the right terminal.
Can you take me from Nice Airport to Cannes?
Yes. We drive west along the coast to hotels and apartments in Cannes, on the Croisette, by the Palais des Festivals and in the hills above the town. Give your full address when you book.
Is there an airport in Cannes?
Yes, but not for airline flights. Cannes-Mandelieu Airport (CEQ), on the western edge of Cannes, handles business and general aviation only: private jets, helicopters and light aircraft, with no scheduled airline service. If you fly to Cannes on an airline ticket, you land at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport.
Can you take me from Nice Airport to Monaco?
Yes. We drive east along the coast to hotels, apartments and offices in Monte-Carlo and the rest of Monaco. There are no border checks between France and Monaco.
Is there an airport in Monaco?
No. Monaco has no airport, only a heliport. Travelers flying to Monaco on an airline ticket land at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, the nearest airport.
Can you take me to Antibes or Juan-les-Pins?
Yes. We drive door to door to hotels, apartments and villas in Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and on Cap d'Antibes, between Nice and Cannes.
Can you take me to Villefranche, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat or Èze?
Yes. We drive east from Nice to hotels and villas in Villefranche-sur-Mer, on the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula and in Èze, both the hilltop village and Èze-sur-Mer by the sea.
Can you take me to Menton?
Yes. Menton is the last French town on the coast before the Italian border, east of Monaco, and we drive door to door to your hotel or apartment there.
Can you take me to Saint-Tropez?
Saint-Tropez is on its own peninsula in the Var, well west of Cannes. Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us before you fly.
Is there a tram or bus from Nice Airport?
Yes. Tram line 2 stops at both terminals and runs into central Nice and to the port, and express buses run east to Monaco and Menton and west to Antibes and Cannes. A private transfer is easier with luggage, for villas away from the main road, or when you would rather go door to door.
What happens if my flight to Nice is delayed?
We monitor the flight on your reservation, so your driver at Nice Airport waits for the actual landing. If your flight number, date or airline changes, or your flight is canceled, update it in Manage your booking so the pickup can be moved.
Can I book a ride back to Nice Airport?
Yes. Book a one-way departure or a round trip from your hotel, apartment or villa in Nice, Cannes or Monaco. Give your flight number, departure time and terminal so the pickup is set for check-in and security.
Is Airport Transportation the same as Nice Côte d'Azur Airport?
No. Airport Transportation is a private transfer service that books rides from NCE; we are not the airport or its operator. For terminals, airlines and other ways to get around, see our Nice Côte d'Azur Airport page.

How far in advance should I book?

During booking we ask for your airline and flight number so we can track delays and wait for you.
Can I make stops during my ride?
Yes, you can add an extra stop to your service during the booking process.
Do children pay differently than adults?
No. Prices are set per passenger range or per vehicle, not per age.
Is my reservation refundable?
Yes. Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your pick-up and you are refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before service are not refundable.
Do drivers speak English?
Yes. While their English may not be native-level, drivers have the skills to communicate with passengers.
Are tips mandatory?
Tips are not mandatory but are highly recommended; drivers earn them through service quality.
What currencies are accepted?
All prices are in USD. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the charge at its own exchange rate.
Are pets allowed?
We can transport domestic pets kept in cages that fit in a normal vehicle.
Is there room for luggage?
Yes. There is plenty of room for one suitcase and one carry-on per person.
What is included in the price?
Every private transfer includes a professional, licensed driver; an insured, well-maintained vehicle; real-time flight monitoring; meet-and-greet service at arrivals; and door-to-door service with no hidden fees added after booking. Your fixed price covers the full route to your destination.
