Airport Transportation in Tokyo
Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Tokyo Haneda International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Our airport transportation in Tokyo picks you up at Haneda Airport (HND), not Narita, and takes you to hotels and apartments in Shinagawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, Roppongi and around Tokyo Station, and south to Kawasaki and Yokohama.
Tokyo Airport Transfers
Tokyo airport transfers from Haneda start in the arrivals lobby of the terminal where your flight lands, Terminal 3 for most international flights, Terminal 2 for some ANA international flights, and Terminal 1 or 2 for domestic flights, and your driver waits there with a name sign. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, late at night included, and you choose the vehicle for your party, from a sedan for two to a minivan or minibus for a family or group with luggage.
Each Tokyo airport transfer goes door to door to your hotel, apartment or office in Shinagawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, Roppongi or around Tokyo Station, or south to Kawasaki and Yokohama. For addresses in central Tokyo, the fare for each vehicle shows in the booking form before you pay. Going on to Hakone, the Mount Fuji area or Narita Airport? Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us before you fly.
Tokyo Airport Shuttle
Our Tokyo airport shuttle is a private car or van from Haneda for your party only, not a shared bus that stops at several hotels on the way. It leaves as soon as you are through arrivals, with room for suitcases and strollers, and suits families, business travelers and anyone landing late at night.
Landing at Tokyo Airport
Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND), officially Tokyo International Airport, sits on Tokyo Bay in Ōta ward and is the closer of Tokyo's two main airports to the city center; the other, Narita (NRT), is a separate airport in Chiba. Haneda has three terminals: Terminal 3 is the main international terminal and is open around the clock; Terminal 2 handles ANA, Air Do and Solaseed Air domestic flights and some ANA international flights; and Terminal 1 handles domestic flights by Japan Airlines, Skymark and StarFlyer. A free shuttle bus links all three.
On an international flight you go through quarantine, then immigration, where foreign visitors have their fingerprints and photo taken, and then customs. Registering your details on Visit Japan Web before you fly can speed up immigration and customs. After customs you come out into the arrivals lobby, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers.
Japan is on Japan Standard Time (UTC+9) all year, with no daylight saving time, and uses the yen.
Haneda, not Narita
Tokyo has two main airports. This page books rides from Haneda (HND); check the airport on your ticket before you book.
Visit Japan Web
Register your immigration and customs details on Visit Japan Web before you fly, and check the visa rules for your nationality.
Hotel addresses
Many Tokyo addresses use district and block numbers rather than street names, so give your hotel's name and full address, in Japanese too if you have it.
Yen and IC cards
Japan uses the yen; an IC card, Suica or PASMO, also works in many shops.

How Tokyo Airport pickup works
- 1
Clear arrivals
Immigration, baggage claim, then customs. Representatives can't enter those areas.
- 2
Meet your representative
At the meeting point in your confirmation. Check the company name before getting in.
- 3
Go straight there
No other stops, no other passengers.
Meet in the arrivals lobby
Pre-booked drivers usually meet passengers in the arrivals lobby of the terminal where the flight lands, holding a name sign.
Check the terminal
International flights arrive at Terminal 3 (some ANA flights at Terminal 2); domestic flights at Terminal 1 or 2.
Don't accept a ride from someone claiming to know your booking. Check the company name and reservation details before getting in.
Return trips and flight changes
Going back to the airport
Transportation can also be booked from your hotel, resort or vacation rental to Tokyo Haneda International Airport. Your pickup time covers the drive plus check-in, security and border procedures, and your airline's instructions come first. Give the correct departure time and terminal when you book.
If your flight changes
We monitor the arrival of the flight on your reservation, but can't find you on a different one. If any of these change, update them in Manage your booking:

Where will my driver meet me at Haneda Airport?
In the arrivals lobby of the terminal where your flight lands, holding a sign with your name, after immigration and customs. International flights arrive at Terminal 3, some ANA international flights at Terminal 2, and domestic flights at Terminal 1 or 2.
Is this page for Haneda or Narita?
This page books rides from Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) only. Narita (NRT) is a different airport, east of Tokyo in Chiba, and both handle international flights, so check which one your ticket shows. If you land at Narita, book on our Narita page.
How far is Haneda Airport from central Tokyo?
Haneda is on Tokyo Bay in Ōta ward, about 15 km (9 miles) south of Tokyo Station, much closer to the city than Narita.
Which terminal will I arrive at in Haneda?
Terminal 3 is the main international terminal, used by Japan Airlines, ANA and foreign airlines, and some ANA international flights use Terminal 2. Domestic flights use Terminal 1 (Japan Airlines, Skymark, StarFlyer) or Terminal 2 (ANA, Air Do, Solaseed Air).
Can you take me to Shinjuku or Shibuya?
Yes. We drive door to door from Haneda to hotels, apartments and offices in Shinjuku and Shibuya. Give the hotel name and full address when you book.
Can you take me to Ginza, Tokyo Station or Shinagawa?
Yes. We drive to hotels in Ginza, Marunouchi and around Tokyo Station, and to Shinagawa, including its station for the shinkansen. Give us your train time if you are catching one.
Can you take me to Yokohama or Kawasaki?
Yes. Kawasaki and Yokohama are south of Haneda along Tokyo Bay, and we drive door to door to hotels, apartments and offices in both cities.
Can you take me to Hakone or Mount Fuji?
Hakone and the Mount Fuji area are in the mountains southwest of Tokyo. Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us before you fly.
Can you take me from Haneda to Narita Airport?
Narita is a separate airport on the far side of Tokyo, in Chiba. Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us before you fly.
Do you pick up late at night at Haneda?
Yes. Terminal 3 is open around the clock, and we track the flight on your reservation, so your driver waits for your actual landing even after midnight.
What do I need to do before landing in Japan?
Register your immigration and customs details on Visit Japan Web before you fly; it can speed up immigration and customs. At immigration, foreign visitors have their fingerprints and photo taken. Check the visa rules for your nationality.
Is there a train or bus from Haneda Airport?
Yes. The Keikyu Line runs to Shinagawa and on into the city, the Tokyo Monorail runs to Hamamatsuchō, and airport limousine buses go to major hotels and stations. A private transfer is easier with luggage, late at night when most trains have stopped, or for addresses away from the stations.
What happens if my flight to Tokyo is delayed?
We monitor the flight on your reservation, so your driver at Haneda Airport waits for the actual landing. If your flight number, date or airline changes, or your flight is canceled, update it in Manage your booking so the pickup can be moved.
Can I book a ride back to Haneda Airport?
Yes. Book a one-way departure or a round trip from your hotel, apartment or office. Give your flight number, departure time and terminal so the pickup is set for check-in and security.
Is Airport Transportation the same as Tokyo Haneda International Airport?
No. Airport Transportation is a private transfer service that books rides from HND; we are not the airport or its operator. For terminals, airlines and other ways to get around, see our Tokyo Haneda International Airport page.

Do children pay differently than adults?

Do drivers speak English?
Yes. While their English may not be native-level, drivers have the skills to communicate with passengers.
Are tips mandatory?
Tips are not mandatory but are highly recommended; drivers earn them through service quality.
What currencies are accepted?
All prices are in USD. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the charge at its own exchange rate.
Are pets allowed?
We can transport domestic pets kept in cages that fit in a normal vehicle.
Is there room for luggage?
Yes. There is plenty of room for one suitcase and one carry-on per person.
What is included in the price?
