Airport Transportation in Cancún
Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Cancún International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
From CUN, private transfers run to the Hotel Zone, downtown Cancún, Playa Mujeres, Costa Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, Akumal, Tulum, and the ferry terminals for Isla Mujeres, Cozumel and Holbox. Every vehicle is reserved for your party only, with no unrelated passengers and no extra hotel stops.
Cancún Airport Transfers
Cancun airport transfers start outside the terminal you land at, whether Terminal 2, 3 or 4: your driver waits in the transportation area after customs, and we track your flight so a delay doesn't cost you the pickup. The price is fixed per vehicle before you fly, from SUVs for couples to minivans and minibuses for families and groups.
Each Cancun airport transfer goes door to door, to all-inclusives in the Hotel Zone and Playa Mujeres, condos in Playa del Carmen, villas in Tulum or the ferry piers for Isla Mujeres and Cozumel.
Cancún Airport Shuttle
Our Cancun airport shuttle is a private van for your party only: it leaves as soon as you're through arrivals instead of waiting to fill seats or stopping at other resorts along the Hotel Zone or Highway 307. There's room for luggage, strollers and golf bags, so it suits families, groups and wedding guests heading down the Riviera Maya.

Going back to the airport
Transportation can also be booked from your hotel, resort or vacation rental to Cancún International Airport. Your pickup time covers the drive plus check-in, security and border procedures, and your airline's instructions come first. Give the correct departure time and terminal when you book.
If your flight changes
We monitor the arrival of the flight on your reservation, but can't find you on a different one. If any of these change, update them in Manage your booking:

Where will my driver meet me at Cancun Airport?
Your confirmation names the meeting point for your terminal. After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the designated transportation area and look for the Airport Transportation representative. Representatives can't enter the baggage-claim or customs areas.
Are meeting points different at Terminals 2, 3 and 4?
Your confirmation gives the meeting instructions for the terminal your flight arrives at. Check the terminal on your ticket when you book.
How long is the transfer from Cancun Airport to the Hotel Zone?
About 20–35 minutes, depending on traffic and where your hotel sits along Boulevard Kukulcán. Downtown Cancún is about 25–35 minutes.
How long does it take to reach Playa del Carmen or Tulum?
About 45–70 minutes to Playa del Carmen and 90–120 minutes to Tulum. Times change with traffic, weather, roadwork and the exact location of your hotel.
Can I book transportation to the Isla Mujeres or Cozumel ferry?
Yes. The Puerto Juárez terminal for Isla Mujeres is about 30–45 minutes from the airport. For Cozumel, book to the ferry terminal you are sailing from.
Do you serve Playa Mujeres and Costa Mujeres?
Yes. Both are resort areas north of Cancún: Playa Mujeres is about 40–60 minutes from the airport and Costa Mujeres about 45–65 minutes.
What if immigration or baggage claim takes longer than expected?
The team monitors your flight, not your time in the terminal. If you are held up for a long time after customs, call or message your provider (the contacts are in your confirmation) so they know you are still on your way.
How much does Cancun Airport Transportation cost?
Private van transportation starts from $44 USD one way to Downtown Cancún and the Cancún Hotel Zone. The price depends on the destination, the vehicle category and whether the reservation is one way or round trip.
Is the transportation private?
Yes. The transportation on this page is reserved exclusively for the passengers on your booking. It is not shared with unrelated travelers.
How many passengers can travel in one vehicle?
Private vans take up to six passengers, luxury and premium SUVs up to five, and group vans up to 12. Luggage volume may reduce the practical passenger capacity.
Is service available 24 hours?
Transportation can be scheduled for late-night and early-morning arrivals and departures. Availability must be confirmed through the booking system.
Can I book transportation to an Airbnb or vacation rental?
Yes, provided the property can be reached safely by the selected vehicle. Enter the complete address and any access instructions when booking.
What happens if my flight is canceled?
Update your new flight in Manage your booking as soon as the cancellation is confirmed, or cancel the transfer there. Cancellations made up to 24 hours before pickup are refunded in full.
Is Airport Transportation the same as Cancun International Airport?
No. Airport Transportation is an independent transportation-booking service and is not the airport operator, an airline or a government authority. For terminal, airline, immigration and facility information, see the Cancún International Airport page.
Are prices per person or per vehicle?
Prices on our website are per vehicle, not per person, based on a range of passengers.
What payment methods are accepted?
You pay securely online when you book, by credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Is my reservation refundable?
Yes. Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your pick-up and you are refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before service are not refundable.
What currencies are accepted?
All prices are in USD. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the charge at its own exchange rate.
