About Sunrise Airways
Sunrise Airways is a regional airline from Haiti, founded in 2010 by pilot Philippe Bayard and headquartered in Port-au-Prince. It started flying in 2012. It is not a member of an airline alliance, but it has interline agreements with carriers such as Air Caraïbes and Hahn Air. Sister airlines Sunrise Dominicana and Sunrise Airways Dominica fly some routes in the same network.
Cap-Haïtien International Airport in northern Haiti is its main base, and V.C. Bird International Airport in Antigua is its hub for the Eastern Caribbean. From there it serves about 21 destinations in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Eastern Caribbean and the United States, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Santo Domingo, Tortola, St. Kitts and Sint Maarten.
The fleet of about 8 aircraft combines Embraer EMB 120 Brasilia turboprops, an Embraer ERJ 145 jet, a BAe Jetstream 32 and two wet-leased Airbus A320s.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Sunrise Airways before travel.
