Airport Transportation in Buenos Aires
Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Ministro Pistarini International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Airport transportation in Buenos Aires picks you up at Ezeiza (EZE), the city's international airport, and takes you to your hotel or apartment in Palermo, Recoleta, San Telmo, Puerto Madero or downtown around the Obelisco. This page is for arrivals at Ezeiza, not Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP).
Buenos Aires Airport Transfers
Our Buenos Aires airport transfers start in the Terminal A arrivals hall at Ezeiza, where your driver waits just outside the customs exit with a sign bearing your name and walks you to the car at the lettered pickup points outside the terminal. We follow your flight, so the pickup moves with your real landing time.
Choose a vehicle sized for your party, from a sedan for two to a van for a family or group, and each Buenos Aires airport transfer goes door to door to your hotel, apartment or office anywhere in downtown Buenos Aires, across town to Aeroparque for a domestic flight, or to the Buquebus ferry terminal for boats to Uruguay. Going on to La Plata, Tigre or Mar del Plata? Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us before you fly.
Buenos Aires Airport Shuttle
Our Buenos Aires airport shuttle is a private van for your party only: it leaves Ezeiza as soon as you have your bags and goes straight to your address, with no stops for other passengers. There is room for suitcases and gear, so it suits families, groups and travelers starting a longer trip around Argentina.
Landing at Buenos Aires Airport
Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE), known as Ezeiza, is the main international airport of Buenos Aires, in the town of Ezeiza south-southwest of the city center. It is a separate airport from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP), which sits inside the city and handles most domestic flights.
All arrivals at Ezeiza, international and, since July 2026, domestic, come out in Terminal A. On an international flight you clear Argentine immigration first, then collect your bags at the belts and pass through customs into the arrivals hall. Check-in for all departures is in the Departures Terminal opened in 2023, and Terminal C handles domestic departures; the three buildings stand side by side.
Buenos Aires uses Argentina Time (UTC-3) all year, with no daylight saving time.
Entry to Argentina
Citizens of many countries, including the United States, can visit Argentina for up to three months without a visa, and your passport must be valid on arrival. Some nationalities that need a visa can apply online for the electronic travel authorization (AVE) instead.
Ezeiza or Aeroparque
Ezeiza handles most international flights, while most domestic flights use Aeroparque Jorge Newbery inside the city. Check which airport your next flight uses before you book your ride back.
Lettered pickup points
Cars collect passengers at lettered pickup points outside Terminal A. If you step outside before you see your driver, tell them which letter you are standing at.
Argentine peso and seasons
The currency is the Argentine peso, so check which currency a fare is quoted in before paying at the airport counters. Seasons are reversed from the Northern Hemisphere: December to February is summer.

How Buenos Aires Airport pickup works
- 1
Clear arrivals
Immigration, baggage claim, then customs. Representatives can't enter those areas.
- 2
Meet your representative
At the meeting point in your confirmation. Check the company name before getting in.
- 3
Go straight there
No other stops, no other passengers.
Meet in arrivals
Pre-booked drivers wait in the Terminal A arrivals hall just outside the customs exit, usually holding a sign with the passenger's name.
Pickup lanes
Cars collect passengers at the lettered pickup points outside Terminal A; tell your driver which letter you are standing at.
Don't accept a ride from someone claiming to know your booking. Check the company name and reservation details before getting in.
Return trips and flight changes
Going back to the airport
Transportation can also be booked from your hotel, resort or vacation rental to Ministro Pistarini International Airport. Your pickup time covers the drive plus check-in, security and border procedures, and your airline's instructions come first. Give the correct departure time and terminal when you book.
If your flight changes
We monitor the arrival of the flight on your reservation, but can't find you on a different one. If any of these change, update them in Manage your booking:

Where will my driver meet me at Buenos Aires Airport?
At Ezeiza, your driver waits in the Terminal A arrivals hall just outside the customs exit, holding a sign with your name, then walks you to the car at the lettered pickup points outside the terminal.
How far is Buenos Aires Airport from the city center?
Ezeiza International Airport is about 22 km (14 miles) south-southwest of central Buenos Aires. Travel time depends heavily on traffic on the highway into the city.
Does this page cover Ezeiza or Aeroparque?
This page is for arrivals at Ezeiza (EZE), the international airport outside the city. Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP) is a separate airport inside Buenos Aires that handles most domestic flights.
Can you take me to Palermo or Recoleta?
Yes. We drive you door to door to hotels and apartments in Palermo, Recoleta and the rest of downtown Buenos Aires. Give us the full address when you book.
Can you take me to San Telmo, Puerto Madero or downtown?
Yes. Enter your hotel or apartment address in San Telmo, Puerto Madero or downtown around the Obelisco when you book, and your driver takes you straight there.
Can you take me from Ezeiza to Aeroparque?
Yes. If you are connecting to a domestic flight at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, enter Aeroparque as your drop-off when you book, and leave plenty of time between flights, since the two airports are on opposite sides of the city.
Can you take me to the ferry to Colonia?
Yes. Enter the Buquebus ferry terminal at Dársena Norte as your drop-off, and book a sailing that leaves time for your landing, the drive and the ferry's check-in and border control.
Can you take me to La Plata, Tigre or Mar del Plata?
Going on to La Plata, Tigre or Mar del Plata? Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us before you fly.

Do I need a visa to enter Argentina?

Should I buy transportation from the counters inside the terminal?
There is no need. Your ride is booked before you fly and your driver waits outside customs with your name, so you can walk past the counters and the offers in the arrivals hall.
What happens if my flight to Buenos Aires is delayed?
We follow the arrival of the flight on your reservation, so your pickup adjusts to a delay. If your flight number, date or airline changes, or your flight is canceled, update it in Manage your booking so we can move your pickup.
Can I book a ride back to Ezeiza Airport?
Yes. Book a ride from your hotel or apartment and give us your flight time. Check first that your flight leaves from Ezeiza and not from Aeroparque.
What time zone is Buenos Aires in?
Buenos Aires uses Argentina Time, UTC-3, all year and does not change its clocks for daylight saving time, so check your pickup time against local time.
Is Airport Transportation the same as Ministro Pistarini International Airport?
