About Azores Airlines
Azores Airlines is the Portuguese airline that links the Azores islands with mainland Portugal, Madeira, North America and Europe. It was founded in 1990 as OceanAir, flew for many years as SATA Internacional and adopted the Azores Airlines name in 2015. Most of its flights connect São Miguel and Terceira with Lisbon, Porto and Faro, and it also flies from Lisbon to Faial (Horta) and Pico, to Funchal in Madeira, and across the Atlantic to Boston, New York, Toronto and Montreal.
