Seville Airport (SVQ), also known as San Pablo Airport, is the airport for Seville and western Andalusia, in Spain. It sits about 10 km (6 miles) east of central Seville, beside the A-4 highway towards Córdoba and Madrid. In 2024 it handled about 9.1 million passengers, a record.
Ryanair and Vueling both have focus cities here. Ryanair flies to Barcelona, Lisbon, Rome, Marrakesh, Tenerife and many other cities, and Vueling to Barcelona, Bilbao, Palma, London Gatwick and Paris. Iberia connects Seville with Madrid, and easyJet and Volotea add routes across Spain and Europe.
All flights use a single terminal, first built for the Expo '92 world's fair and enlarged between 2019 and 2022. It has 19 boarding gates, many of them served by buses to the aircraft.
From the airport, most travelers head into Seville's old town around the cathedral and Santa Cruz, or on to Córdoba, Jerez, Cádiz, Huelva and the beaches of the Costa de la Luz.

Arrival tips for Seville Airport
All flights arrive at the single terminal, often by bus from the aircraft stand. Flights from Spain and other Schengen countries arrive without passport checks. If you come from outside the Schengen area, for example from the UK or Morocco, you queue at passport control, where non-EU visitors are registered in the EU's Entry/Exit System.
Once you have your bags, follow the signs out of the arrivals hall to the bus stop, the taxi rank and the car rental desks. The Airport Express bus runs to the city center in about 40 minutes, stopping at Santa Justa station (for AVE high-speed trains) on its way to the Plaza de Armas bus station. It runs from about 4:30 in the morning to just before 1:00 at night. There is no train to the airport. Pre-booked drivers usually meet you in the arrivals hall.
Spain is on Central European Time (CET) and uses the euro. Seville summers are among the hottest in Europe, so carry water if you are arriving in July or August.
Ground transportation
The Airport Express bus is the cheap option for the center; a taxi or pre-booked car is quicker, and the easiest choice for Córdoba, Jerez or the coast.
