About Olympic Air
Olympic Air is a Greek regional airline that began flying on 29 September 2009. The company, Olympic Air S.A., is headquartered at Athens International Airport in Spata and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of AEGEAN Airlines since 2013. It is not a member of an airline alliance; its parent AEGEAN belongs to Star Alliance.
Its main base is Athens International Airport, with a second base in Thessaloniki and a regional operation from Rhodes. Under its own OA flight numbers it serves about 19 airports in Greece, many of them small island airports such as Paros, Naxos, Milos, Skiathos, Karpathos and Kastellorizo. Olympic Air aircraft also fly some domestic routes sold under AEGEAN (A3) flight numbers.
The fleet of about 18 turboprops is made up of ATR 72-600, ATR 42-600 and De Havilland Dash 8-100 aircraft.
Schedules, aircraft assignments and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Olympic Air before travel.
