About Azul
Azul, officially Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras S.A., is a Brazilian airline founded on May 5, 2008, and headquartered in Barueri, in the São Paulo metropolitan area. It is part of Azul S.A., which is listed in São Paulo and New York. Azul is not a member of an airline alliance and works with partners such as United Airlines through codeshare agreements.
Its main hub is Campinas Viracopos International Airport, with further hubs at Belo Horizonte Confins and Recife. Azul serves more than 135 destinations, most of them in Brazil, including many smaller cities reached by regional aircraft and by its subsidiary Azul Conecta. International flights link Brazil with Florida, Portugal and South America.
The fleet of about 155 aircraft combines Airbus A330 widebodies, Airbus A320neo-family jets, Embraer E-Jets, ATR 72 turboprops and Cessna Grand Caravans.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Azul before travel.

Practical information
BaggageCabin bags, checked bags, missing luggage
Azul baggage allowances depend on the fare family, route and Azul Fidelidade level.
Passengers can normally bring one carry-on bag plus one personal item. Size and weight limits depend on fare and are shown during booking.
Some fares include checked bags and others do not, especially on domestic routes. International routes have their own allowances.
Sports equipment, pets, oversized items and medical equipment follow separate rules. Check the official Azul website before you fly.
Check-in and boardingSteps before departure
Online check-in on voeazul.com.br or the Azul app normally opens 72 hours before departure. Follow the check-in and bag-drop deadlines shown in your booking, which are longer for international flights.
Confirm the operating airline, airport and terminal.
Review passport, visa and entry requirements for your destination.
Check in online or in the app as soon as it opens.
Download the mobile boarding pass or print it.
Allow time for bag drop, security and, on international flights, immigration.

Azul Fidelidade, formerly TudoAzul, is Azul's loyalty program. Members earn points on Azul flights and with partner cards and businesses, and redeem them for flights, upgrades and other rewards. Program rules change, so check your account for the conditions that apply to your trip.
