About Saudia
Saudia, formerly known as Saudi Arabian Airlines, is the national airline of Saudi Arabia. It was founded in 1945, has its head office in Jeddah and is part of Saudia Group, which also includes the low-cost airline flyadeal. Saudia has been a member of the SkyTeam alliance since 2012.
Its main hub is King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, with major operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and further bases in Medina and Dammam. From these cities it serves around 100 destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and North America, including all 26 domestic airports in Saudi Arabia. Many international flights carry travelers heading to Mecca and Medina for Umrah and Hajj.
The fleet of about 149 aircraft combines Airbus A320-family jets, including the A321neo and A321XLR, with Airbus A330-300, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787 aircraft.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Saudia before travel.
