About Sichuan Airlines

Sichuan Airlines is a Chinese airline headquartered in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. Sichuan Airlines Co., Ltd. was founded on 19 September 1986 and began flying in July 1988; its main shareholder is Sichuan Airlines Group. It is not a member of any of the three global alliances and works with partners such as China Southern Airlines and Turkish Airlines through codeshare agreements.

Its hubs are Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU), with further hubs in Chongqing and Kunming. From there it serves around 130 destinations, most of them in mainland China, plus international routes to Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Oceania.

The fleet of about 220 aircraft is all Airbus: A319, A320 and A321 jets (including the neo versions) for domestic and regional flights, and A330s and A350-900s on long-haul routes.

Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Sichuan Airlines before travel.
