About Air Dolomiti
Air Dolomiti is an Italian regional airline owned by the Lufthansa Group. The company, legally Air Dolomiti S.p.A. L.A.R.E. (Linee Aeree Regionali Europee), was founded in 1989, began flying on 21 January 1991 and is headquartered in Dossobuono di Villafranca, next to Verona airport. Lufthansa has been its sole shareholder since 2003, and its fares and booking are aligned with Lufthansa's.
Air Dolomiti's two hubs are Munich and Frankfurt. From there it connects around 40 destinations, mainly regional airports in Italy such as Verona, Florence, Bologna, Bari, Turin and Milan Linate, plus cities in Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom. Many flights are sold with Lufthansa flight numbers, and some routes are seasonal.
The fleet of 28 aircraft is made up of Embraer E195 and E190 regional jets.
