About Oman Air
Oman Air is the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, operated by Oman Air S.A.O.C. and headquartered at Muscat International Airport in Seeb. It began operations under the Oman Air name in 1993, building on aviation services in Oman that date back to 1970, and its parent company is the Oman Investment Authority. Oman Air joined the oneworld alliance on 30 June 2025.
Its hub is Muscat International Airport, the base for its whole network, with domestic flights to Salalah and other cities in Oman. From Muscat it serves about 43 destinations in 25 countries across the Gulf and the wider Middle East, India and Bangladesh, Southeast Asia, Europe and Russia, and many itineraries connect in Muscat.
The all-Boeing fleet of about 33 aircraft combines Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners for long-haul routes with Boeing 737 family jets, including 737 MAX 8 aircraft, for regional and medium-haul flights.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Oman Air before travel.
