About Aeroméxico
Aeroméxico is the flag carrier of Mexico, founded on 14 September 1934 and headquartered in Mexico City. It is one of the four founding members of the SkyTeam alliance and works closely with Delta Air Lines, which holds a stake in the group, under a joint cooperation agreement on routes between Mexico and the United States.
Its main hub is Mexico City International Airport, with secondary hubs in Guadalajara and Monterrey. From there it serves around 100 destinations in Mexico, the United States, Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. Regional flights are operated by its subsidiary Aeroméxico Connect.
The mainline fleet is built around the Boeing 737 for domestic and regional routes and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for long-haul flights.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Aeroméxico before travel.

Practical information
BaggageCabin bags, checked bags, missing luggage
Aeroméxico baggage allowances depend on the fare family, cabin, route and Aeroméxico Rewards or SkyTeam status.
Economy passengers can normally bring one carry-on bag plus one personal item. Size and weight limits are shown during booking.
Some fares include checked bags and others do not, especially basic fares on domestic routes. Routes to and from the United States, Europe and South America have their own allowances.
Sports equipment, pets, oversized items and medical equipment follow separate rules. Check the official Aeroméxico baggage page before you fly.
Check-in and boardingSteps before departure
Online check-in on aeromexico.com or the Aeroméxico app normally opens 24 hours before departure. Follow the check-in and bag-drop deadlines shown in your booking, which are longer for international flights.
Confirm the operating airline, airport and terminal.
Review passport, visa and entry requirements for your destination.
Check in online or in the app as soon as it opens.
Download the mobile boarding pass or print it.
Allow time for bag drop, security and, on international flights, immigration.
Lounges
Aeroméxico operates Salón Premier lounges at Mexico City and other airports in its network. Access depends on cabin, Aeroméxico Rewards or SkyTeam status, and the itinerary. Check the location and opening hours before you travel.
Loyalty program
Aeroméxico Rewards is Aeroméxico's loyalty program. Members earn points on Aeroméxico, Delta and other SkyTeam flights, and with partner cards and businesses, and redeem them for flights and upgrades. Program rules change, so check your account for the conditions that apply to your trip.
