About Croatia Airlines
Croatia Airlines is the flag carrier of Croatia, founded on 7 August 1989 as Zagal (Zagreb Airlines) and renamed Croatia Airlines in 1990. Croatia Airlines d.d. is headquartered in Zagreb and has been a member of Star Alliance since 2004, with Miles & More as its frequent-flyer program.
Its hub is Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport, and it also runs a large seasonal operation from Split and Dubrovnik. In the 2026 summer season it connects Croatia with 32 international destinations across Europe, alongside domestic flights between Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Zadar and Pula, and flights from Rijeka and Osijek to Munich. Most coastal routes operate in the summer season, from late March to late October.
The fleet is built around the Airbus A220-100 and A220-300, which fly most routes, alongside the Airbus A319.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Croatia Airlines before travel.
