About Eurowings
Eurowings is a German airline in the Lufthansa Group, headquartered in Düsseldorf. It was formed in 1993 from the merger of two regional carriers, NFD and RFG, and is now the group's airline for direct flights within Europe. Its sister company Eurowings Europe, registered in Malta, operates part of the network from bases outside Germany. Eurowings is not a member of an airline alliance, but it codeshares with Lufthansa Group airlines and its passengers earn Miles & More miles.
Eurowings flies point to point rather than through a single hub. Düsseldorf is its largest base, with further German bases in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne/Bonn, Stuttgart and Hanover, and bases abroad in Palma de Mallorca, Prague, Salzburg, Graz and Stockholm. The network covers about 150 destinations in 40 countries, mostly city routes and leisure destinations around the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and Scandinavia.
The fleet of 98 aircraft is made up of Airbus A319, A320, A320neo, A321 and A321neo jets, with Boeing 737 MAX 8 deliveries planned from 2027.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Eurowings before travel.

Check-in and boardingSteps before departure
Online check-in on eurowings.com or the Eurowings app normally opens 72 hours before departure and closes 3 hours before, or 40 minutes before at most German airports. Eurowings recommends arriving 2 hours before departure.
Confirm the operating airline, airport and terminal.

Check in online or in the app as soon as it opens. Everyone on the booking is checked in together.
Save the mobile boarding pass in the app or your phone's wallet, or print it.
Allow time for bag drop, which is self-service at many airports, and security.
Lounges
BIZclass passengers get lounge access where available, and Miles & More Frequent Traveller, Senator and HON Circle members can use lounges when flying SMART or BIZclass. Check access rules for your airport before you travel.
Loyalty program
Eurowings flights earn miles in Miles & More, the Lufthansa Group loyalty program. Members can redeem miles for flights and upgrades across Lufthansa Group airlines. Program rules change, so check your account for the conditions that apply to your trip.
