About LOT Polish Airlines
LOT Polish Airlines is the flag carrier of Poland. It was founded on 29 December 1928, began flying on 1 January 1929 and is headquartered in Warsaw. The airline is owned by the Polish state and has been a member of Star Alliance since 2003.
Its hub is Warsaw Chopin Airport, where most of its European, Middle East and long-haul flights connect. LOT also flies from Kraków, including transatlantic flights to Chicago and Newark, and from Gdańsk and other Polish regional airports. The network covers about 100 destinations in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, plus seasonal charter flights for tour operators to the Caribbean, Mexico and Asia.
The fleet of about 91 aircraft combines Boeing 787 Dreamliners for long-haul routes, Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 737-800 jets for European routes, and Embraer regional jets.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with LOT before travel.
