The fleet of about 279 aircraft (249 passenger and 30 freighter, as of March 2026) is built around the Airbus A350, Boeing 777 and Boeing 787, with Airbus A380s on selected routes.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Qatar Airways before travel.

Practical information
BaggageCabin bags, checked bags, missing luggage
Qatar Airways baggage allowances depend on the cabin, the fare type, the route and Privilege Club or oneworld status. Your exact allowance is shown in Manage booking.
Economy passengers can bring one piece up to 7 kg (15 lb), or 10 kg (22 lb) on flights to and from Brazil. Business and First passengers can bring two pieces up to 15 kg (33 lb) in total. Each piece can measure up to 50 x 37 x 25 cm (20 x 15 x 10 in).
Flights to and from the Americas and Africa use a piece allowance: in Economy, one or two bags up to 23 kg depending on fare; in Business and First, two bags up to 32 kg each. Other routes use a total weight allowance that depends on cabin and fare. No single bag can exceed 32 kg.
Sports equipment, pets, oversized items and medical equipment follow separate rules. Check the official Qatar Airways baggage page before you fly.
Check-in and boardingSteps before departure

Review passport, visa and entry requirements for your destination and for transit in Doha.
Check in online or in the app as soon as it opens.

Lounges
At Hamad International Airport, Qatar Airways operates the Al Safwa First Lounge and Al Mourjan Business Lounges, plus lounges for eligible Privilege Club and oneworld status members. At other airports it uses its own or partner lounges. Access depends on cabin, status and itinerary, so check the location and opening hours before you travel.
Loyalty program
Privilege Club is Qatar Airways' loyalty program. Members earn Avios on Qatar Airways and oneworld flights and with program partners, and redeem them for award flights, upgrades and other rewards. Status tiers add benefits such as lounge access and priority services. Program rules change, so check your account for the conditions that apply to your trip.
