About Air Canada
Air Canada is the flag carrier and largest airline of Canada, headquartered in Montreal. It was founded in 1937 as Trans-Canada Air Lines and took its current name in 1965. In 1997 it was one of the five founding members of the Star Alliance.
Its main hubs are Toronto Pearson, Montréal–Trudeau and Vancouver, with Calgary as a further hub. From them Air Canada serves more than 200 destinations across Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
The group also includes Air Canada Rouge, its leisure airline for sun and holiday routes, and Air Canada Express, the regional flights operated by partner carriers. Aeroplan is its loyalty program.
Schedules, aircraft assignments, terminals and fare rules can change. Confirm operational details directly with Air Canada before travel.
